HOW IT WORKS

LeadNow takes all of the insight, expertise, and evidence gathered from more than a decade of supporting school leaders and teachers in-person, and applies that to a virtual world of training and coaching. As a result, LeadNow:

  • Brings the best of our training and coaching content to you, wherever you are.
  • Integrates videos from our Dignitas Leadership Coaches, who explain complex concepts in a relevant and impactful way.
  • Integrates videos from our alumni, with demonstrations from their very own classrooms, to help you imagine what might be possible in yours.
  • Values human connection as the foundation of our shared growth and professional development. Where possible, this means integrating offline interaction and support.

Finding your way around

Once you have been selected to participate in training and coaching, you will receive a notification from our team, and log-in credentials for the LeadNow Platform.  You can log in from any device that can access the internet, or via the Moodle App.

Before you log in for the first time, you should receive a few helpful items via Whats App. These will also be available to you in the Announcements tab once you log in.

Meet your Cohort

Once you’ve logged in, you should be able to meet other educators assigned to the same cohort. Complete your profile so that they can get to know you. Use the chat function to reach out and introduce yourself Review the forums and sign up for those that interest you

You can check out your course outline  here.  Be sure to make a note of important dates, note which sessions you are expected to complete alone, and which you will attend with your cohort.

Orientation Session

Check your schedule for details of your cohort’s Orientation Session. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions and get any support you need as you work to find your way around LeadNow At the Orientation Session, you will meet with your Coach, who will also give an overview of your schedule, and important expectations. Details on how to join this season are in your schedule, and may also be shared with you via Whats App.

Check for feedback

At regular intervals throughout the course, you will receive important feedback from your Leadership Coach. This feedback is informed by your participation, and is intended to offer support. All Dignitas coaching follows this cycle, and is designed to help you put what you’re learning into practice, so that you see the positive impact reflected in your work.
